What’s expected of you?
- Support IFRS and Solvency II reporting at both local and group levels, including coordination and consolidation of inputs for IFRS financial statements
- Assist in the annual planning and forecasting processes, as well as asset-liability and cash/liquidity management activities
- Manage bookkeeping and accounting entries for quarterly management accounts, including reviewing financial inputs from service providers, processing invoices, and preparing payments
- Prepare and submit corporate tax and VAT returns, liaising closely with tax advisors
- Handle various accounting-related tasks as required to support the finance function
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors for IFRS, Solvency II, and other financial audits
- Provide support during on-site visits and requests from authorities, cells, and service providers
- Contribute to risk management activities, including evaluating internal controls and supporting actuarial and risk management functions
- Assist the insurance policy administration team, helping with system maintenance and upgrades, as well as compiling monthly insurance and reinsurance statements
What are you expected to bring?
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles
- University degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of business English (spoken and written) with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Motivated, proactive, organized, and results-driven individual
- A collaborative team player with strong intercultural awareness and a positive, professional attitude
- Experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS 9, and IFRS 17 will be considered an asset
