What's expected of you?
- Ensure all regulatory and statutory returns are completed accurately and on time
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash cycle by delegating tasks and ensuring smooth team workflows
- Participate in month-end close and audit processes to meet deadlines and compliance requirements
- Prepare audit support documentation and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process
- Provide operational and analytical support to the finance and management teams as required
- Maintain effective internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance
- Assist the Director and Assistant Director of Finance with the preparation of reports, forecasts, and budgets
What are you expected to bring?
- Qualified accountant or in the final stages of obtaining an accounting qualification
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
