Our client, a well established organisation in the Aviation sector, is currently seeking an Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations and support financial reporting.
What is expected of you?
- Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Support the finance team in preparing for internal and external audits.
- Handle VAT returns and other tax related submissions in compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
What are you expected to bring?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Maltese is preferred).
- Possess a relevant accounting qualification, such as an A level in Accounts, Diploma in Accounting, or be part qualified ACCA/ACA.
- Demonstrate a minimum of two years of experience in an Accounts Executive or similar accounting role.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Show meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Be a professional, reliable, and dependable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
