We are seeking a motivated and organised Accounts Payable professional to join our client’s expanding team. What is expected of you?
- Reconcile suppliers’ statements and process payments accordingly
- Post general invoices while ensuring invoices match approved quotes and purchase orders
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Liaise with Cost Controllers and suppliers to request credit notes
- Analyse accruals and prepayments while monitoring receipt of general invoices
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the Financial Controller
What are you expected to bring?
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or accounts payable role
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach
- Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software will be considered an asset
