One of our clients, a well-established group operating within the iGaming industry in Malta, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team.
What is expected of you?

Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities

Support the management of accruals, prepayments and fixed assets

Assist with internal controls, audits and financial reporting requirements

Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve payment and accounting queries

Contribute to finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives

Perform any additional duties as may be required by senior management from time to time
What are you expected to bring?

Previous experience in a similar accounting role, with accounts payable experience considered a strong asset

Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

A reliable, methodical and proactive approach to work

High levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism

Good communication skills in English
