Our client is seeking an Accounts Supervisor to join their growing Accountancy team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is nearing completion of their ACCA qualification and is ready to take on greater responsibility. Working closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting, supporting junior team members, and maintaining high standards of service within a professional and collaborative environment.
What is expected of you?
- Supervise and review accounting work prepared by junior team members
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain accounting journals and management accounts
- Manage VAT and tax return processes
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required
- Support the development of junior team members through guidance and mentorship
- Assist in improving internal processes and maintaining high service standards
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the accurate completion of accounting tasks
What are you expected to bring?
- Partly qualified ACCA, ideally in the final stages of qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience within a Corporate Services Provider (CSP) environment would be considered an asset
