What is expected of you?

Conduct investigations into suspected illegal or unauthorised gaming activities, including evidence collection, analysis, and reporting

Support MLRO interviews and assessments, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT regulations

Assist in MGA inspections, from planning to reporting findings
-
Identify and escalate AML/CFT concerns, including STRs, to enforcement and legal teams
-
Collaborate with external authorities (e.g., FIAU, Malta Business Registry, Asset Recovery Bureau) on investigations and information sharing
-
Deliver and support AML training sessions for staff
-
Maintain accurate records of investigations, inspections, and MLRO activities
-
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of investigation procedures and supervisory programs

Ensure strict adherence to all relevant AML/CFT laws, regulations, and internal policies
What are you expected to bring?

Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) or equivalent; candidates with MQF Level 5 considered with relevant experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills; able to present findings clearly in both written and oral formats.

Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of responsibilities in line with KPIs

Sound knowledge of AML/CFT laws and regulations applicable in Malta and the EU
