What is expected of you?

Liaise with Gaming Licensees, internal departments, the FIAU, and other regulatory bodies on AML/CFT matters.

Review and analyse AML/CFT documentation, including Risk Assessments, Customer Acceptance Policies, and AML procedures.

Conduct AML/CFT examinations to assess compliance with regulatory obligations, independently or alongside the FIAU.
-
Prepare clear, concise, and high-quality examination reports highlighting key findings.

Maintain and organise examination records in line with AML Unit policies.
-
Assess the competence and suitability of applicant MLROs.

Support the AML Unit with additional duties and responsibilities as required.
What are you expected to bring?

Degree qualification at MQF Level 6 (or equivalent); candidates with MQF Level 5 and relevant experience will also be considered.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly both verbally and in writing.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure.

Proactive, results-driven, and able to take ownership in line with agreed KPIs.

Solid understanding of AML/CFT laws and regulations within Malta and the EU.
