One of our top clients is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead and grow their regional sales operations, driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional results across their territory.
What is expected of you?
- Identify and secure new accounts
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with new and existing clients
- Develop and execute sales initiatives within the retail sector
- Provide customer service and ongoing sales support to all clients
- Monitor sales performance and follow up on client payments in line with contracts or agreements
- Plan and coordinate promotional activities with existing and prospective accounts
- Conduct occasional educational training sessions, including product merchandising
- Maintain strong relationships with key personnel at client accounts
- Organise and manage point-of-sale materials, such as display units, on a regular basis
- Host clients for presentations and tastings at company facilities
- Support events and trade shows, acting as a brand ambassador for the company
What are you expected to bring?
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in sales and in-field marketing, with strong business negotiation skills
- Energetic, smart, and self-motivated team player with the drive to meet customer needs and sales targets
- Possess at least an ‘O’ level standard of education
- Fluent in Maltese and English
- Hold a clean driving licence
- Previous hands-on experience in sales and marketing is essential
- Knowledge of the local retail sector and F&B industry is an advantage
