What is expected of you?
- Maintain accurate financial records and update ledgers promptly
- Issue sales invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements, daily cash transactions, and deposits
- Prepare cash flow reports, financial forecasts, and monthly management accounts
- Assist with budgeting and expenditure monitoring
- Ensure timely and compliant submission of tax returns
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation
- Use accounting software to manage data and generate financial reports
- Monitor and reconcile inventory records
- Complete statutory, regulatory, and statistical returns
- Provide general administrative support
- Work closely with the General Manager to support financial and operational needs
What are you expected to bring?
- Qualified accountant or currently completing accounting studies
- Highly organised and detail-oriented individual, capable of managing multiple priorities and ensuring accuracy
- Previous experience in an accounting position
- Great team player who contributes positively to the workplace while also being able to take initiative and work independently when required
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software is considered an advantage
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach
