We’re seeking a commercially minded Assistant Commercial & Revenue Manager to join a centrally located hotel forming part of a leading group. This role will support reservations, revenue management, distribution and commercial activities, while offering the opportunity to develop expertise across hotel pricing, inventory, tour operators, commercial partnerships and business development.
What's expected of you?

Support the day-to-day Reservations function, room allocations and inventory management

Monitor occupancy, booking pace, pickup, cancellations and forward bookings

Assist with room rates, pricing strategies, packages, promotions and revenue optimisation

Prepare regular revenue, occupancy, pickup and business-on-the-books reports

Monitor OTAs, tour operators, wholesalers and other distribution channels
-
Ensure rates, availability, restrictions and room information are accurately maintained in Opera and relevant systems

Assist with commercial contracts, partner communications, allocations and promotions

Monitor competitor rates, market trends and channel performance
-
Support revenue forecasting, budget monitoring and commercial analysis

Work closely with Sales, Reservations, Front Office and Marketing to achieve revenue objectives

Identify discrepancies, trends and commercial opportunities and report them to management

Assist with guest and partner enquiries and resolve booking-related issues professionally
What are you expected to bring?

Previous experience in a hotel environment, preferably in Reservations, Revenue, Sales, Distribution or a commercial function

Good knowledge of hotel reservations, room inventory, rates and revenue principles

Experience with Opera PMS; strong Opera knowledge is a significant advantage

Experience dealing with OTAs, tour operators, wholesalers or commercial partners

Strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage priorities

Commercially minded, proactive and eager to develop within a broader hotel commercial function
