What's expected of you?
- Support the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports
- Review and interpret financial data to identify variances and cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
- Oversee day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Carry out bank reconciliations and actively monitor cash flow levels
- Implement and uphold internal control procedures to protect company assets
- Ensure adherence to local tax legislation, accounting standards, and internal policies
- Assist with both internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly and effectively
- Work closely with departmental leaders to ensure financial practices support operational goals
- Monitor inventory levels and operational cost controls and support CAPEX planning and reporting
- Guide and support junior finance team members, contributing to their training and development
- Drive improvements through the automation and optimisation of financial processes
- Support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of financial systems
What are you expected to bring?
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, ideally within the hospitality sector
- Knowledge of hotel accounting standards is considered an advantage
- Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting software
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence in data analysis and reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Working knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements
