Our client, a professional services organisation specialising in corporate and accounting services, is currently seeking an Associate Client Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients and ensure accurate financial reporting.
What is expected of you?
- Prepare and review management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Handle client reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with Maltese VAT and income tax regulations for assigned clients.
- Assist with year end preparation and liaise with auditors as required.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective and professional communication.
- Utilise accounting software efficiently for daily operational tasks.
- Support senior accountants with ad hoc financial tasks and projects.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) or accounting firm, or in a similar accounting position.
- Demonstrate experience working in a client facing role within an international and professional setting.
- Be mid way through ACCA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Exhibit working knowledge of Maltese VAT and income tax compliance requirements.
- Show good knowledge of accounting, finance, reconciliations, management accounts, and year end preparation.
- Have experience using accounting software.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
