One of our clients, a reputable healthcare provider in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Charge Nurse to oversee the nursing department and ensure the delivery of quality care to residents.
What is expected of you?

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety

Supervise and monitor the performance of Senior Nurses and Registered Nurses

Coordinate nursing staff allocation according to residents' dependency levels and individual care needs

Monitor medication management, clinical documentation and compliance with established procedures
-
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements

Oversee nursing arrangements for resident admissions, transfers and emergencies
-
Provide guidance, support and training to nursing staff to promote professional development

Ensure effective communication and coordination within the nursing team

Report directly to the General Manager and provide updates on nursing operations as required
What are you expected to bring?

A valid Maltese nursing warrant and registration as a Registered Nurse

A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in Malta, preferably within elderly care
-
Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a healthcare setting

Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
-
Good knowledge of medication management, clinical documentation and regulatory standards

Ability to work independently, manage priorities and lead a nursing team effectively
-
A responsible and professional approach, with a strong commitment to resident well-being and quality care
