We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead and shape our client’s commercial strategy, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion. This is a strategic leadership role for a dynamic professional with a strong track record in sales, business development, and commercial management within engineering or technical environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, securing high-value opportunities, and leading high-performing teams to deliver long-term business success.
What’s expected of you?
- Lead and execute the company’s commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Oversee sales, business development, proposals, tendering, and pricing strategies to secure high-value projects and maintain a strong project pipeline.
- Manage and develop high-performing commercial teams through target setting, mentoring, recruitment, and performance management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and strategic partners.
- Drive commercial planning, budget forecasting, KPI tracking, and financial performance monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and Engineering teams to achieve strategic business goals.
- Identify new market opportunities locally and internationally while staying ahead of industry trends and competitors.
What are you expected to bring?
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior commercial leadership role within engineering, technical sales, or project management environments.
- Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and securing complex, high-value contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and profit & loss management.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, project management tools, and digital technologies that support commercial growth.
