Are you a CFO who thrives on building and scaling businesses not just maintaining them? We’re partnering with a key client to appoint a hands-on, commercially minded CFO for a pivotal leadership role. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will shape and execute financial strategy, drive effective capital allocation, and establish the robust structures and controls required to support the next phase of growth across a multi-entity group.
What's expected of you?
- Own and deliver the Group’s financial strategy to support growth, scale, and long-term value creation
- Act as a key contributor to the next growth phase, translating strategy into clear financial priorities and execution plans
- Partner closely with senior leadership and the Board on expansion, capital deployment, and strategic initiatives
- Lead forward-looking financial planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Take a hands-on role in evaluating, structuring, and supporting investments and growth initiatives
- Drive disciplined capital allocation across projects, subsidiaries, and the wider Group
- Build and challenge business cases and financial models for acquisitions, new ventures, and major projects
- Oversee all finance functions including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and compliance
- Ensure strong governance, internal controls, audit readiness, and adherence to international standards
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements across the Group
- Lead banking and lender relationships to support optimal financing solutions
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to deliver real-time financial insight and decision support
- Provide financial leadership on project costing, margin control, tenders, and major negotiations
- Design and embed scalable financial structures, policies, and governance frameworks
- Drive finance transformation, including ERP, BI, and automation
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team and performance-driven culture
What are you expected to bring?
- Minimum 5 years’ senior financial leadership experience within the construction or M&E sector, operating as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience supporting and scaling businesses through high-growth phases
- Strong track record in project finance, cash flow management, capital allocation, and risk management
- Experience operating within multi-entity, multi-country group structures
- Exposure to M&A, corporate restructuring, or post-acquisition integration is highly advantageous
