Are you an experienced and qualified accounts professional keen for a new venture? Our esteemed client, a premier TCSP in Malta located in the centre of Malta, is looking for an accountant to join their multinational accounting team.
What is expected of you?
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned clients in accordance with relevant standards.
- Prepare and file VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts while collaborating with auditors as necessary.
- Effectively manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Lead projects and ad-hoc financial reporting tasks as directed by management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for team members, providing guidance, reviewing work, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist in client onboarding processes and propose system/process improvements as needed.
- Liaise with relevant authorities on behalf of clients.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and development.
What are you expected to bring?
- ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a CSP environment.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in IFRS or local accounting standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive mindset.
- Thorough understanding of Maltese VAT and tax legislation.
- Demonstrated integrity when handling confidential information.
