Our client, a well established financial services provider in Malta, is currently seeking a Client Onboarding Executive to manage the end to end client onboarding process, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
What is expected of you?
- Manage the complete client onboarding lifecycle, from initial contact through to account activation.
- Conduct thorough Know Your Customer KYC and Anti Money Laundering AML due diligence checks on prospective clients.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments for new clients, identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks.
- Ensure all client documentation is accurately collected, verified, and maintained in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
- Stay updated with the latest AML/KYC regulations and industry best practices, implementing necessary changes to processes.
- Handle confidential client information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding processes and procedures.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess a minimum of two years of experience in a client onboarding, KYC, or AML focused role within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to conduct effective risk assessments and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder coordination.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using relevant compliance and client management software.
- Hold a relevant qualification in Finance, Law, or a related field.
