Our client, a well established organisation in the finance sector, is currently seeking a Client Payroll Officer to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related statutory obligations for their clients.
What is expected of you?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll preparation.
- Prepare and process payroll for a portfolio of local and international clients.
- Manage all statutory obligations including Single Permits, residency cards, and employment registrations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations and legislation.
- Handle client queries and provide clear, accurate information regarding payroll matters.
- Maintain precise and confidential payroll records and documentation.
- Assist with year end reporting and other ad hoc financial tasks as required.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
What are you expected to bring?
- Demonstrable experience in payroll preparation for both local and international clients.
- Solid understanding of Maltese statutory obligations related to employment, including Single Permits and residency cards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and task management.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience with specific payroll software platforms.
