Our client, a well established financial services provider in Malta, is currently seeking a Company Secretarial Officer to ensure meticulous corporate compliance and governance for their diverse client portfolio.
What is expected of you?
- Manage and oversee all statutory filings with the Malta Business Registry (MBR) accurately and punctually.
- Maintain and update all statutory registers, including those for members, directors, and beneficial owners.
- Draft comprehensive governance documents such as agendas, minutes, resolutions, and board packs.
- Ensure accurate corporate record keeping and full compliance with Maltese company law.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client relationship management regarding company secretarial matters.
- Provide guidance and support on corporate governance principles and MFSA regulations.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to Company Service Provider (CSP) standards.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess solid knowledge of Maltese company law.
- Be familiar with MFSA regulations and Company Service Provider (CSP) standards.
- Demonstrate proven experience with statutory filings at the Malta Business Registry (MBR).
- Have demonstrable experience managing statutory registers.
