A leading Maltese organisation is seeking a Compliance & Operations Executive to manage audits, optimise processes, and maintain critical certifications, blending strategic oversight with hands-on execution to ensure smooth operations and the highest compliance standards across the business.
What is expected of you?

Maintain and oversee management systems and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards

Manage document control, compliance registers, and certification records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility

Coordinate internal and external audits, tracking non-conformities and ensuring corrective actions are completed on time

Monitor adherence to internal policies, regulatory obligations, and data protection frameworks, escalating gaps as needed

Map and review business processes across departments to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment with procedures

Identify process inefficiencies, duplication, or gaps, recommending improvements to enhance operational consistency

Standardise procedures across departments and subsidiaries, aligning operations with quality, compliance, and certification requirements

Support digitalisation initiatives, including ERP and workflow systems, to streamline operations

Assist with enterprise risk assessments, governance, and policy reviews, strengthening internal controls with department heads

Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive briefs, while coordinating meetings, agendas, and action tracking
What are you expected to bring?

3–5 years’ experience working with management systems and certification frameworks (e.g., ISO or other regulated/accredited schemes)

Proven experience in maintaining structured processes, ensuring procedural compliance, and supporting audit preparation including corrective action tracking

Strong administrative and executive support experience, including document management and coordination

Exposure to ERP, workflow, or other digital systems is considered an asset

Experience within technical services, engineering, construction, or other regulated environments is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organisational levels

Proven ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organisational skills and professional presence, with the ability to promote compliance while building trusted relationships with stakeholders

ISO Internal Auditor Certification (mandatory); ISO Lead Auditor qualification considered an asset

Knowledge or exposure to additional certification frameworks will be considered an advantage
