Ceek, in partnership with a highly reputable organisation in Malta, is seeking a Compliance Executive to play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Compliance function and driving compliance initiatives across the organisation.
What is expected of you?

Review and assess ownership changes, share transfers, and group structures of licensed entities.

Conduct risk assessments and evaluate regulatory implications of ownership changes

Ensure all supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable laws and the Authority’s framework

Act as the main point of contact for licensed entities throughout the ownership review process
-
Coordinate with Due Diligence and other internal teams to ensure comprehensive evaluations and timely deliverables

Prepare internal memoranda for committee review and support supervisory engagements and governance assessments
-
Lead or support projects related to ownership structures and regulatory oversight
-
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal policies, procedures, and best practices

Support reporting to senior management and represent the Authority locally or internationally when required

Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management
What are you expected to bring?
-
Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6 or equivalent) Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or a Diploma (MQF Level 5) with at least 5 years’ relevant experience

Knowledge of KYC protocols, corporate governance, and/or financial services; experience in gaming regulation is an asset

Solid understanding of corporate structures, shareholding arrangements, and governance frameworks

Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities with high attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
