What is expected of you?

Ensure full compliance with all applicable Maltese laws and regulations, including CSP and Trust regulations, while supporting other regulatory functions within the Group

Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Monitor company activities, conduct risk assessments, and report compliance findings to the Board through quarterly compliance reports

Deliver compliance training and guidance to employees, fostering awareness and accountability across the Group

Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and regulatory risks

Lead internal audits and investigations, coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities when required

Act as the primary liaison with Maltese regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate communication and documentation

Provide clear, practical advice on regulatory matters, supporting ethical and compliant business operations

Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and continuous improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen the overall compliance framework

Manage and develop team members through performance reviews, coaching, and constructive feedback
What are you expected to bring?

Strong knowledge of Corporate and Trust regulations, with a solid understanding of the Maltese regulatory framework

Proven expertise in Due Diligence, AML, and related compliance practices

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present clearly and confidently

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict regulatory deadlines

Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of exercising sound independent judgement

Effective problem-solver with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Demonstrated management and leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop others
