Our client, a well established organisation operating within a regulated sector, is currently seeking a Compliance Officer to uphold the highest standards of operational compliance and regulatory oversight.
What is expected of you?
- Conduct regular operational compliance inspections and audits.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
- Identify, investigate, and report instances of non compliance, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive compliance records and documentation.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of compliance procedures and controls.
- Provide guidance and support to operational teams on compliance related matters.
- Review and verify the validity of licences, permits, and certifications.
- Contribute to fostering a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess demonstrable experience in a compliance, operational controls, inspections, enforcement, or another regulated environment role.
- Exhibit strong organisational, planning, and record management capabilities.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing licence, permit, and certification validity.
- Show confidence and assertiveness to identify non compliance and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Apply good problem solving and decision making abilities to complex situations.
- Possess the ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Hold a relevant qualification in law, compliance, or a related field.
