What is expected of you?
- Assess and verify documentation submitted, including corporate records, business plans, and operational policies and procedures.
- Analyze company structures, as well as the sources of funds and/or wealth of applicants.
- Review documents submitted additional approvals and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in meetings with prospective applicants.
- Assist in the formulation, development, and maintenance of policies and procedures to support the department’s objectives.
- Conduct special investigations or assignments as required.
- Attend training sessions, conferences, and forums as necessary.
- Ensure professional standards are upheld
- Collaborate with other internal departments as needed.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the management team.
What are you expected to bring?
- A diploma in Business, Management, Finance, Criminology, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in Compliance, KYC, or Finance.
- Knowledge of accounting practices is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical thinking, motivation, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and perform in a dynamic environment.
- A keen eye for identifying high-risk areas and the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- A proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
