Join one of our clients as part of their Communications team, where you’ll help shape both internal and external messaging. Working within the Corporate and Internal Communications unit, you’ll create engaging content across digital platforms, support key publications like annual reports, and contribute to campaigns focused on employer branding, consumer awareness, and internal initiatives. You’ll also handle media relations and public enquiries, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication while protecting the organisation’s brand and reputation.
What's expected of you?
- Create engaging content for internal and external channels, including social media, newsletters, press releases, editorials, e-shots, and intranet updates
- Assist in planning and scheduling communication activities across all platforms
- Contribute to key publications such as the Annual Report and other official documents, under the guidance of the PR & Communications Manager
- Support public relations efforts, including media enquiries, press conferences, workshops, and other events
- Develop creative campaign concepts related to consumer education, financial literacy, employer branding, and event promotion
- Prepare communication plans for internal and external campaigns, including media/channel strategy and budget allocation
- Help execute communication and campaign plans, ensuring timely delivery and consistency
- Assist in drafting crisis communication plans and templates alongside senior team members
- Respond to public enquiries via email, web forms, phone calls, and in-person visits, ensuring a high level of service
What are you expected to bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in a senior marketing or communications role, with a strong focus on content creation, copywriting, and public relations
- Proven experience in campaign and social media management, with a creative mindset and strong storytelling ability
- Skilled in writing SEO-friendly, persuasive content across various formats including press releases, social media, websites, intranet, and email marketing
- Proficient in proofreading and editing for clarity, grammar, and tone in both English and Maltese
- Experience in crisis communication planning, media outreach and relationship management, and publishing formal documents such as annual reports
- Strong analytical skills to track campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to pitch ideas, influence stakeholders, and respond professionally to enquiries
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
- Flexible, collaborative, and eager to learn, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and stay current with industry trends
