Distribution Executive - Malta

Our client, a well established organisation within the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) market, is seeking a Distribution Executive to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products across their network.
What is expected of you?
- Manage and oversee daily distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including route planning, scheduling, and fleet management.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehousing teams to optimise stock movement.
- Prepare detailed reports on distribution performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport and safety regulations.
- Utilise Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track shipments and manage distribution data.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to meet client expectations.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or logistics promptly.
What are you expected to bring?
- Proven experience in a distribution or logistics role, preferably within the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
- Strong IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrable working experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Possession of a valid driving licence.
- A results driven approach and strong problem solving abilities.
