An established organisation in Malta is seeking to recruit a Distribution Executive to join its team and support the smooth running of its distribution, warehousing and cold chain operations.
What is expected of you?

Plan and optimise driver schedules using distribution software, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries

Monitor driver performance, promote high standards of customer service and support the recruitment of new drivers

Coordinate distribution activities with cold stores to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Manage relationships with distributors, organise monthly meetings and communicate updates on new products and packaging

Ensure distributors comply with company policies, contractual agreements and operational standards

Monitor sales performance, identify discrepancies and prepare regular operational reports

Oversee daily stock control and forecasting across all product lines

Inspect distributor vehicles to ensure cleanliness and compliance with required temperature standards

Act as a key point of contact for clients, including retail outlets, catering businesses and hotel chains

Analyse distribution data, identify logistical challenges and recommend improvements to operational efficiency

Carry out any additional duties required to support the distribution function
What are you expected to bring?

3–4 years’ experience in a similar distribution or logistics role, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector

Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and practical experience using an ERP system

A valid driving licence

Strong analytical, organisational and reporting skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines

A proactive, results-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities

Excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with drivers, distributors and clients
