Are you ready to take on a support role within our Engineering & Maintenance team, working closely with the Technical Leader and Senior Technicians to manage spare parts effectively, maintain accurate stock control, and help ensure the proper organization and protection of company assets?
What is expected of you?
- Oversee the organisation, control, and upkeep of the maintenance storeroom., ensuring all storage locations (cabinets, shelves, and racks) are clearly labelled.
- Ensure all parts are stored securely and in an orderly manner to allow easy identification and quick access when needed.
- Apply effective storekeeping and inventory management practices to maintain the condition and reliability of parts and equipment while in storage.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized store environment at all times.
- Oversee and coordinate daily store operations and activities.
- Ensure that access to the store is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Prepare and issue parts required for both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Support maintenance personnel in identifying required parts and accessories for specific jobs, and issue items as needed.
- Monitor and record all stock movements, ensuring accurate inventory records for parts received and issued.
- Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure availability of critical spare parts.
- Carry out stock analysis, including identifying fast-moving and slow-moving items.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Identify stock requirements based on operational needs and prepare requisitions accordingly.
- Follow up with suppliers to track and confirm timely delivery of ordered parts.
- Receive incoming parts and verify them against purchase orders, delivery notes, and agreed quantities.
- Inspect delivered items to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Provide additional support to the maintenance team and carry out tasks as requested by the Engineering and Maintenance Manager or Executive.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support the smooth running of the department.
- Follow, update, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with HACCP and GMP requirements.
- Prepare and maintain SOP documentation relevant to the assigned area of responsibility.
What are you expected to bring?
- MQF Level 4 qualification or an equivalent certification.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office and ERP systems, will be considered an advantage.
