Are you a driven engineer ready to lead critical infrastructure and operations? An established organisation is seeking a full-time Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance and mechanical operations across its production assets. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and a proactive approach to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What is expected of you?
- Oversee maintenance of plant machinery, vehicles, and specialised equipment
- Lead and schedule technical teams (maintenance, welders, mechanics)
- Implement preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, inspections, and certifications
- Manage equipment installations and coordinate with contractors
- Control budgets and optimise maintenance costs
- Support mechanical/electrical setups on-site
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and stock
- Contribute to ISO systems for health, safety, quality, and environment
- Prepare technical documentation and cost estimates for projects
What are you expected to bring?
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MQF Level 6 or equivalent)
- Valid Electrical Licence A and/or B
- 10+ years’ experience in maintenance, engineering, or production
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong planning, detail orientation, and decision-making under pressure
- Knowledge of industrial/manufacturing equipment
- Excellent English communication and team mindset
- Solid understanding of safety and compliance standards
