Our client, a growing financial services organisation, is currently seeking a Finance & Business Operations Officer to ensure robust financial management, corporate administration, and regulatory compliance.
What is expected of you?
- Oversee daily accounting and financial management activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Manage corporate administration tasks, including company secretarial duties and record keeping.
- Provide comprehensive support for portfolio operations and client administration, maintaining high service standards.
- Facilitate client onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance frameworks, including Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
- Prepare and submit financial reports and statements accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements across finance and business operations functions.
What are you expected to bring?
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management within a professional setting.
- Solid understanding of corporate administration and regulatory compliance principles.
- Demonstrable experience with AML and KYC processes and requirements.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience within the Malta financial services sector.
- Familiarity with specific financial reporting standards such as IFRS.
