What is expected of you?
• Maintain accurate accounting records across all entities
• Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
• Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles
• Perform monthly bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations
• Lead the month-end closing process within agreed timelines
• Prepare and review trial balances and supporting schedules
• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Monitor actuals versus budget and provide variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare VAT returns and statutory filings
• Support corporate tax computations and reporting
• Support automation initiatives and strengthen internal controls
What are you expected to bring?
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant
• 2–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly
