What is expected of you?
- Maintain accurate accounting records across all entities
- Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles
- Perform monthly bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations
- Lead the month-end closing process within agreed timelines
- Prepare and review trial balances and supporting schedules
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements
- Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
- Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Monitor actuals versus budget and provide variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare VAT returns and statutory filings
- Support corporate tax computations and reporting
- Support automation initiatives and strengthen internal controls
What are you expected to bring?
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant
- 2–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly
