What’s expected of you?
- Lead financial operations for the international business across all active cells, ensuring accuracy, consistency, strong controls, and aligned performance standards
- Review IFRS 17 management accounts and statutory submissions, coordinating Solvency II reporting, RSR/ORSA inputs, SCR monitoring, and regulatory interactions
- Oversee treasury activities and asset-management flows, ensuring adherence to mandates and investment policy requirements
- Advance automation and process optimisation with advisors and the BI & AI team, simplifying reporting packs, bordereaux, and reconciliations, and leveraging AI tools to reduce manual effort and strengthen data quality
- Serve as the MFSA-approved representative on cell committees and communicate effectively with boards, auditors, and tax advisors
- Adopt a portfolio-wide approach by moving from individual account oversight to consolidated performance management, with unified KPIs and aggregated reporting
- Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, fostering high performance and contributing to the design of the future operating model
- Support growth by contributing to financial projections, due diligence, and licence applications for new programs, ensuring a seamless transition from onboarding to steady-state operations
What are you expected to bring?
- Qualified accountant with at least 7 years of senior insurance finance experience in a Solvency II environment and strong familiarity with IFRS 17
- Demonstrated background working across multi-entity or portfolio structures
- Practical experience in regulatory reporting, including Solvency II QRTs, ORSA and SCR contributions, and MFSA requirements, supported by a strong governance focus
- Skilled in streamlining processes, with experience in analytics and an openness to adopting AI tools
- Strong communicator with clear written delivery, confident engagement at board level, and a steady approach in high-pressure situations
