Ready to step up and lead with energy? We’re seeking a motivated, experienced Finance Manager to join our client, a top FMCG Group. Working with the Group Financial Controller and General Managers, you’ll play a key role in driving performance.
What is expected of you?
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a team of Accounts Officers and Junior Accountants
- Overseeing the upkeep of subsidiary ledgers and financial records for one or more business units
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and assisting with year-end closing activities
- Providing support to the General Manager of assigned business units and assisting team members as needed
- Reviewing, evaluating, and analysing business performance, proposals, plans, and new opportunities
- Preparing VAT returns and compiling financial information required by regulatory authorities and Government departments
- Coordinating with the group’s auditors and liaising with external service providers across business units
- Preparing and maintaining up-to-date bank balances, debtor and creditor schedules, and other key financial data
- Contributing to the enhancement and reinforcement of internal controls and financial procedures
- Delivering clear, accurate, and timely reporting on all assigned activities.
What are you expected to bring?
- Holds a Master’s in Accountancy, ACCA qualification, or another comparable recognised accounting certification at MQF Level 7 or above
- Brings proven, relevant experience within a similar industry
- Demonstrates confidence and assertiveness, with strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and clearly present financial information
- Works collaboratively and supportively, and is able to perform effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Is detail-oriented, accurate, and highly self-motivated
- Is able to travel when required
