Are you a commercially driven Finance professional ready to take full ownership in a dynamic investment environment? One of our lead clients is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee accounting, reporting, investment analysis, and due diligence, while ensuring strong financial controls and managing day-to-day accounting and VAT responsibilities.
What's expected of you?
- Oversee investments from both commercial and financial perspectives, reviewing business plans, financial models, and assumptions to ensure decisions are backed by robust analysis
- Monitor post-investment performance, compliance with financial and operational milestones, and evaluate results against budgets, business plans, and return expectations
- Lead financial due diligence for new investments or acquisitions, coordinating with external advisors and reviewing all financial, legal, and commercial documentation
- Prepare, review, and analyse monthly management accounts for all investment and operating entities, identifying trends, variances, and key performance drivers
- Support directors with strategic planning, funding requirements, risk assessment, and implementation of new initiatives
- Assist with corporate management tasks, including statutory returns, board meeting preparation, minute-taking, and reporting/presentations to the Board or principal
- Manage relationships with banks and advisors, handle local and international tax matters, and liaise with team members across offices to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Contribute to the smooth operation of administrative and transactional finance processes, including VAT preparation and day-to-day accounting support
What are you expected to bring?
- Qualified accountant (warranted or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, investment management, or corporate services
- Able to take ownership of tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ambitious, with a desire to grow within an investment environment and potentially progress into directorship roles
