What is expected of you?
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts across all business units
- Lead group financial consolidation and reporting
- Liaise with banks and regulators to ensure compliance
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Coordinate with tax advisors to meet and optimize tax obligations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns within statutory deadlines
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial policies
- Develop and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with department heads
- Maintain cash flow forecasts to support operations and investment planning
- Analyse data using Power BI to deliver insights, trends, and performance dashboard
What are you expected to bring?
- Fluent in Maltese and English with strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities with a proactive mindset
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude
- Capable of contributing to strategic decisions in a fast-paced, multi-sector environment
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in a Big 4 firm, ideally in audit
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
