Are you an experienced Financial Controller ready to step into a strategic leadership role? We’re recruiting for one of our top clients as they look to expand their Senior Management Team with the addition of a qualified Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee the full accounting function, drive strong financial reporting and compliance, support strategic decision-making, and lead a high-performing finance team within a reputable and growing organisation.
What is expected of you?
- Lead and oversee the full accounting function across all business units
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, from management accounts through to financial statements, in line with accounting standards and deadlines
- Establish and strengthen internal controls and processes to maximise profitability and maintain full regulatory compliance
- Identify and drive process improvements within the finance function and across operational areas
- Ensure all regulatory, statutory, and statistical reporting requirements are met accurately and on time
- Support the General Manager with financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, and budget preparation
- Partner with the General Manager and Senior Leadership Team to provide financial insight that supports strategic planning and informed decision-making
- Lead audit preparations and act as the key liaison for both internal and external auditors
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team to maintain high performance standards
- Promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture aligned with company values
What are you expected to bring?
- Fully qualified Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
- 4–5 years’ experience in a similar role, including leading a finance team at management level
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commercially astute with strong financial and business acumen
- Ability to thrive and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
