Our client, a rapidly expanding international group with diverse operations, is currently seeking a Financial Controller to lead their finance function and ensure robust financial management across multiple entities.
What is expected of you?
- Oversee all financial operations and accounting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Provide strategic financial analysis, insights, and business partnering to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for the group.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and working capital optimisation.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, liaising effectively with auditors and tax advisors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes and systems.
What are you expected to bring?
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller within a multi company, group, or international environment.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and effective business partnering capabilities.
- In depth understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, and finance process improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, with a proactive, hands on, and results driven approach.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, effective across various functions and jurisdictions.
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or an equivalent.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
