Ceek Talent is on the lookout for a skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join the Finance team of a well-established international group operating across Europe and Africa. The team oversees the finance functions of multiple subsidiaries, consolidates group reporting, and manages finance operations across the group.
What is expected of you?
- Review and analyse monthly, quarterly, and year-end group reporting packs from local and foreign subsidiaries to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with group reporting requirements
- Provide analytical support to explain movements and trends in group financial results
- Identify reporting issues, errors, or inconsistencies and liaise with local finance teams to resolve them promptly
- Manage and oversee reconciliation of intra-group balances and assist in preparing consolidation adjustments
- Support the Consolidations Manager in compiling consolidated financial statements
- Assist in maintaining and improving internal processes, reporting templates, and consolidation systems
- Provide guidance on technical issues to other finance team members
- Offer ad hoc support for forecasts, due diligence exercises, and other reports as needed
- Undertake assignments supporting subsidiary accounting departments when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
What are you expected to bring?
- Fully qualified accountant with solid knowledge of IFRSs and strong technical understanding of financial reporting and consolidation principles
- Approximately 2 years’ experience in a similar role; auditing experience is an asset
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with various stakeholders across the group
