Are you an experienced FP&A professional looking to make a real impact? One of our top clients is currently seeking an FP&A Manager to join their team and play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and business insights.
What is expected of you?
- Prepare, analyse, and present monthly financial and management reports for both group and regulatory requirements
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for portfolio companies, ensuring timely submissions, efficient data consolidation, and meaningful financial insights
- Improve operational efficiency by designing and implementing automated workflows that minimise manual work, enhance data accuracy, and accelerate reporting cycles
- Create and maintain financial reports and dashboards using ERP systems (such as Cognos and Tagetik) and BI tools like PowerBI
- Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities across finance and other functions, supporting digital transformation initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert for advanced Excel models, ERP/BI platforms (Cognos, Tagetik), and best practices in financial automation
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support scenario modelling to assist leadership with strategic decision-making
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and local regulatory reporting standards
- Attend occasional work-related meetings and events that may require travel
What are you expected to bring?
- A degree in Finance, Business Informatics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Financial Reporting, with proven involvement in automation or process improvement projects
- Practical experience working with ERP and reporting systems such as Cognos and Tagetik
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential
- Knowledge of automation tools or programming languages such as Python, VBA, SQL, or RPA platforms would be considered an advantage
- Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong cross-functional mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and support digital transformation initiatives
- Structured, analytical, and able to work independently
