Our client, a prominent organisation in the FMCG sector, is currently seeking a General Stores Officer to manage inventory and support efficient stock movement.
What is expected of you?
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods and deliveries.
- Organise and maintain the stores area, ensuring items are correctly shelved and easily accessible.
- Process outgoing orders, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with stock.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the stores department.
- Assist with loading and unloading tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols.
What are you expected to bring?
- Experience in ERP system will be considered an asset.
- A qualification at MQF Level 2 or 3 or equivalent .
- Possess proven experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in managing inventory and records.
- Adopt a proactive and hands-on approach to daily tasks.
- Possess the physical ability to lift and move items as required by the role.
- Exhibit good organisational and time management skills.
- Show basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic Excel knowledge would be preferred
