Are you a visionary HR leader ready to shape the people strategy of a dynamic, future-focused organisation? One of our lead clients is seeking an exceptional Group Head of Human Resources to lead and execute the Group’s people strategy in line with long-term business objectives. As a trusted advisor to the Deputy CEO and Executive Leadership Team, you will drive organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, and cultural alignment across the business.

What's expected of you?

  • Develop and deliver a forward-thinking Group HR strategy that enables business growth, scalability, and long-term sustainability
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on organisational design, workforce risk, succession planning, and people-related business decisions
  • Strengthen leadership capability and organisational performance through targeted development, high-potential talent identification, and robust succession pipelines for critical roles
  • Lead executive and leadership hiring while proactively mitigating key person dependencies through effective workforce planning
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR function with clear accountability, service standards, and a scalable operating model to support continued growth
  • Drive structured change management initiatives aligned to expansion, transformation, acquisitions, and organisational redesign, ensuring engagement and business continuity
  • Define and embed a high-performance culture aligned to the Group’s values, owning the performance management framework to ensure measurable outcomes and leadership accountability
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to close performance gaps and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee Group-wide training, competency, and capability frameworks across leadership, professional, and technical disciplines, aligned to business and regulatory requirements
  • Design and maintain a competitive remuneration and incentive philosophy that supports performance, retention, and financial objectives, while providing insight on labour cost, productivity, and organisational efficiency
  • Own and manage the HR budget, ensuring cost discipline and measurable return on people-related investment
  • Ensure full compliance with employment legislation and regulatory standards, overseeing complex employee relations matters and safeguarding the Group from legal and reputational risk
  • Maintain and continuously enhance a cohesive Group HR governance and policy framework
  • Leverage HR systems, workforce analytics, and predictive insights to support data-driven decision-making at executive and shareholder level
  • Lead people due diligence for acquisitions, assessing cultural alignment and leadership capability, and execute structured post-merger integration to ensure successful transition and engagement

What are you expected to bring?

  • Proven executive-level HR leadership experience, ideally within a multi-entity or group structure, with a strong track record of delivering measurable organisational and people outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate people strategy into tangible business results, aligning workforce decisions with financial performance, productivity, and operational objectives
  • Demonstrated experience supporting organisational growth, transformation, scalability, and potentially international expansion within complex or regulated environments (exposure to mechanical and electrical operations would be advantageous)
  • Credible and mature leader with the presence and confidence to influence at Board and Executive level, communicate complex workforce matters clearly, and challenge constructively where required
  • Strategic yet hands-on, with the ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing HR teams that operate with accountability, professional rigour, and commercial awareness
  • Data-driven and analytical in approach, capable of translating organisational insight into strategic, operational, and growth-focused decisions, while implementing pragmatic, value-oriented solutions
  • Forward-thinking mindset focused on leadership depth, succession strength, organisational capability, and workforce readiness to support sustainable long-term growth
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging executive leaders, senior operational teams, employee representatives, and external advisors
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving, and multi-entity environments while maintaining focus on execution and results
  • Deep understanding of employment legislation, governance, organisational risk, and compliance frameworks, with the judgement to balance strong people governance and risk management against agility and performance needs
  • High levels of integrity, sound judgement, discretion, and strong planning, prioritisation, and execution capability across complex, multi-stakeholder people initiatives

  • The opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing company
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment
  • The chance to lead and develop a high-performing team
