Our client, a specialist organisation within the emergency response sector, is currently seeking a Head of Operations, Training & Quality to oversee and enhance their operational frameworks, training programmes, and quality assurance processes.
What is expected of you?
- Lead the development and execution of operational strategies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all functions.
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of all training programmes, ensuring they meet international standards and organisational needs.
- Establish and maintain robust quality management systems, driving continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources, optimising allocation for operational, training, and quality initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with international fire and safety training standards, accreditations, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of operations, training, and quality processes to identify areas for enhancement.
- Act as a key stakeholder in strategic planning, contributing expertise in operations, training, and quality assurance.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess significant experience within the fire service, emergency response, or a related safety critical industry.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of managing training operations, projects, budgets, and diverse teams.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of international fire and safety training standards, accreditations, and compliance requirements.
- Hold extensive experience leading quality management and audit processes.
- Show excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Display strong problem solving abilities with a proactive and analytical approach.
- Possess the legal right to work in Malta or the European Union.
