Think Talent is seeking a Head of Training Solutions to take strategic ownership of a well-established training and coaching business. Reporting to the Group CEO, this executive role will lead the ThinkTalent business with responsibility for commercial growth, key client relationships, and the positioning of the brand as a trusted professional services partner. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, the role will support high-level client engagements, solution design, and the effective conversion of opportunities from proposal through to delivery.
What's expected of you?
- Lead, manage, and coordinate the ThinkTalent team, fostering a strong “One Collective” culture
- Act as a trusted consultant to new and existing clients, promoting the Collective’s full solution offering
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop talent to support growth across Malta and future diversification
- Partner closely with the Head of Lead Generation and Business Development to leverage automation, data is developed, to drive enquiries
- Ensure best practice, quality standards, and operational processes are consistently applied and improved
- Collaborate with Group senior leadership to maintain service levels while identifying and converting new revenue opportunities
- Allocate and manage incoming leads, ensuring rapid and appropriate client follow-up
- Work with Compliance & Quality to gather feedback and communicate insights to clients and trainers
- Drive upselling and cross-selling across the Collective’s service portfolio
- Train and coach the team on solution pitching and consultative engagement
- Maintain strong awareness of team capability, market value, and individual career development
- Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
- Monitor performance data, feedback, and reporting to inform decision-making
- Identify and develop partnerships and strategic alliances
What are you expected to bring?
- Proven senior leadership experience within training, coaching, learning & development, or professional services
- Strong commercial and business development background, with a track record of winning, growing, and retaining client accounts
- Extensive hands-on experience as a Subject Matter Expert in training & coaching, able to diagnose organisational needs and propose solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams (trainers, coordinators, administrators)
- Experience working in a consultative, solution-selling environment, supporting proposals, presentations, and complex client engagements
- Ability to bridge sales and delivery, ensuring accurate handover, quality assurance, and client satisfaction
- Strong understanding of cross-selling and multi-service professional solutions (e.g. HR, talent acquisition, consulting, coaching)
- Commercially driven mindset with comfort around targets, activity metrics, pipelines, and numbers
- Experience contributing to or owning business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth strategies
- Capability to identify and develop new brands, services, and revenue streams
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, marketing, sales, compliance, and quality teams
- Strong local market knowledge and business network within Malta, with credibility and presence in the business community
- Willingness to be highly hands-on, including client meetings, pitching, training delivery when required, and front-line business development
- Comfortable representing the business at industry events, conferences, and client-facing engagements
- Experience operating in fast-growing, entrepreneurial, or disruptive environments
- Native Maltese speaker, fluent in English (additional languages considered an asset)
- High level of professional integrity, adaptability, and resilience
- Willingness to work primarily office-based in Malta, with flexibility toward a hybrid model over time
