Take on a pivotal role in ensuring safety across all projects. A leading construction company in Malta is looking for a skilled Health & Safety Advisor to manage site safety, enforce regulatory compliance, and maintain a secure working environment from start to finish.
What is expected of you?

Drive full compliance with Maltese OHSA regulations and company safety standards.

Conduct daily inspections, spot hazards, and take decisive corrective action.

Prepare and implement Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Emergency Plans.

Deliver Toolbox Talks and train workers on best HSE practices.

Record and manage incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.

Coordinate safety efforts with subcontractors, site management, and stakeholders.

Enforce mandatory safety measures and stop unsafe work when necessary.
What are you expected to bring?

Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in the construction industry, preferably in Malta.

Strong knowledge of OHSA laws, site safety procedures, Risk Assessments, RAMS, Toolbox Talks, and incident reporting.

Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proactive, responsible, and effective in working with multicultural site teams.

Experience in delivering safety training on site.

Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
