HR Executive - Malta

Are you passionate about people and workplace culture? One of our top clients is seeking an Executive Human Resources to support core HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a key part in promoting a positive and inclusive workplace, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, and engagement initiatives, while aligning HR practices with organisational goals.

 

What's expected of you?

  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of HR programmes and initiatives aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives, with a strong focus on employee engagement, development, and operational effectiveness
  • Work closely with managers and teams across the business to identify and address HR requirements, including learning and development, employee relations, performance management, and organisational culture
  • Lead and support employee engagement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience, promote well-being, and build strong morale throughout the organisation
  • Organise and coordinate internal events such as team-building activities, employee recognition programmes, social initiatives, and ESG activities to encourage a collaborative and inclusive workplace
  • Ensure effective internal communication by keeping employees informed and engaged on HR policies, updates, and cultural initiatives
  • Contribute to the evolution of HR strategies by proposing innovative solutions that strengthen engagement, inclusion, and company culture
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees, providing guidance, gathering feedback, and supporting initiatives aimed at improving retention and job satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and alignment with the Company’s values
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics, producing reports and insights to support continuous improvement across HR functions
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, payroll support, and process updates
  • Keep abreast of HR trends and best practices through ongoing professional development and networking
  • Carry out additional HR-related responsibilities and projects as required to support business needs

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Degree-level qualification in Human Resources, Management, or a related discipline (MQF Level 6 or equivalent)
  • Candidates holding a Diploma (MQF Level 5 or equivalent) will be considered if accompanied by relevant practical experience
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a Human Resources role
  • Solid understanding of learning and development practices, employee engagement initiatives, and event coordination
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage a variety of stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to address challenges independently
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated passion for creating a positive workplace culture and enhancing the overall employee experience
  • Experience or knowledge of CSR initiatives and HR reporting will be considered an asset
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and related administrative functions
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR data, identify workforce trends, and provide actionable insights
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when managing sensitive employee information
