One of our clients is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join their team on a temporary basis for a period of nine months under a definite contract. Based in Malta and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR operations including disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, internal communications, and recruitment coordination.
What's expected of you?
- Report directly to the Director.
- Oversee disciplinary procedures and conflict management processes
- Handle internal company announcements and vacancy calls
- Prepare monthly HR reports and presentations for management
- Monitor the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring adherence to procedures
- Ensure timely issuance and renewal of work permits in compliance with legal requirements
- Provide guidance and support to the HR team to ensure smooth departmental operations
- Participate in global HR calls and assist with the rollout of new HR initiatives
- Coordinate employee events and staff recognition/awards programs
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook
- Ensure HR compliance with local employment legislation and internal standards
- Stay current on Maltese labour laws and HR-related legal obligations
