Our client, a well established organisation operating within the services sector, is currently seeking an HR Manager to strategically develop and manage their human resources function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive employee experience.
What is expected of you?
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on HR related matters, including employee relations and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
- Nurture a positive working environment and ensure effective communication channels are maintained.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess proven working experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR best practices.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Show strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Display strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Hold a proactive and solutions oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Be proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess a relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
