We’re hiring an experienced HR Supervisor for one of our top clients. If you’re passionate about people and workplace excellence, this role offers the chance to lead HR operations, drive employee engagement, and make a real impact.
What's expected of you?
- Compile and maintain HR policies, with a focus on vacation leave approvals and sick leave reporting, including follow-ups on medical certificates with respective Heads of Department
- Coordinate with new recruits and liaise with internal departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security) to arrange access cards, locker keys, badges, and uniforms
- Complete Third-Country National (TCN) documentation for Identity Malta and ensure all HR paperwork is finalized for single residency permit applications
- Prepare Jobs Plus applications for secondary work permits for part-time employees
- Draft and update employment contracts and job descriptions
- Communicate with recruitment agencies and post job advertisements as approved by the CEO
- Maintain and update all HR files to meet compliance standards for the Old People Standards Authority (OPSA) inspections and the annual HR audit required for license renewal
- Monitor and follow up on annual training programs across all departments within both care homes
- Handle administrative HR tasks, including the annual renewal of non-EU work permits
- Organize team-building activities to promote collaboration and synergy between both care homes and their departments
- Perform other general administrative and HR duties as required
What are you expected to bring?
- Proven experience in Human Resources administration or supervision, ideally within a healthcare or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, including leave management and employee documentation
- Familiarity with Identity Malta and Jobs Plus processes, particularly for Third-Country Nationals (TCN) and work permit applications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
- Experience in recruitment coordination, drafting contracts, and maintaining HR files and compliance documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail for audits and record-keeping
- A proactive approach to team engagement and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture
- Ability to manage multiple HR and administrative tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
