Our client, a well established organisation within the facilities management sector, is currently seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across their properties.
What is expected of you?
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and calibrating components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Install new HVAC systems and related components according to specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with energy efficiency and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as required.
What are you expected to bring?
- Possess proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their operational principles.
- Be proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Hold relevant technical qualifications or certifications in HVAC.
- Exhibit excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driving licence.
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with specific HVAC control systems or building management systems.
- Additional certifications in refrigeration or electrical work.
